Single door construction: Single door construction allows for more convenient and quicker access to data. No other data safe we know of has achieved a UL Class 125- 2 hour fire & impact rating using single door construction. Push and seal closure requires less force to release the closure. Full protection against fire is achieved simply by fully closing the door, regardless of lock position.

Efficient insulation: Featuring a patented Iceolate™ insulation a compound containing, among other things, salt crystals which are optimal for absorbing heat from a fire. This insulation is the most efficient material ever to be used for data Safes. This allows the DS series to have thinner walls, lighter weight and a smaller foot print compared to other similar capacity data safes.

Fire Ratings: FireKing DS series data safes are all UL Class 125, 2 hour fire & impact rated. They are also tested and approved according to the European standard EN1047-1 for fire, certified by ECB-S for 120 minutes. fire protection: S-120 DIS.
