FireKing File Ratings

• UL Class-350 2 Hour Fire Rating: The file is tested for 2 hours in a furnace with temperatures rising to 1850° F. The internal temperature of the safe must remain below 350°F for the duration of the test.
  
• UL Impact Test : The file is heated to 1638° F for 45 minutes then dropped onto concrete rubble from a height of 30 feet. It is then turned upside down and reheated 45 more minutes. The file cabinet must maintain its integrity and protect its contents for the duration of the test.
• Explosion Hazard Test: The file is placed into a furnace preheated to 2000° for 30 minutes to simulate a cold file falling into a very hot fire. The FireKing cabinet is then allowed to cool inside the sealed furnace
• Security: Medeco® UL-listed high security key lock comes standard.
• Water resistance:FireKing files are designed to protect from incedential water contact such as building sprinkler systems and fire hoses.

Dock to Dock freight is included in the base price. A loading dock or forklift is required at the delivery location .
Lift gate delivery or curb side delivery is an additional $75.00. Delivery truck is equipped with a Hydrolic lift that will lower the FireKing file to the ground.
Professional inside delivery and set-in place is also available for FireKing Files for an additional charge, starting at $295.00 for a commercial address to a ground floor or elevator accessible location {no more than 3 steps or stairs}
For an inside delivery to a residential location an additional $50.00 is required
If more than 3 steps or stairs have to be negotiated a stair carry fee of $220.00 per flight {15 steps = 1 flight}is required. Landings and direction changes are considered extra flights
For international customers a freight forwarders service will be needed. We will gladly assist with all the relevant documentation.

Warranty

If a mechanical or operable part of the FireKing File Cabinet malfunctions or breaks down during normal use, FireKing, will at its option, repair or replace such part FREE for three (3) years from the date of purchase. Associated labor costs for the repair or replacement of these parts will be paid by FireKing (with authorization in advance). In addition, in the event that a FireKing file is damaged in a fire, at any time while in the possession of the original purchaser, FireKing will replace the cabinet free of charge, and ship it freight collect to the original owner.

• FIREPROOF FILE INSULATION is 100% gypsum, reinforced by a 1” by 2” lattice made of 14-gauge galvanized welded steel wire, providing complete peace of mind from fire, impact, or explosion.


• FIELD REPLACEABLE STEEL PANELS can easily be replaced in the event that any panel is damaged.


• FINISH is an environmentally-friendly electrostatic powder coating applied to all sides, including bottom. The finish is scratch-resistant, providing a lifetime quality appearance. Standard colors available include: parchment, tan,taupe, brown, black, sand,champagne, platinum, and pewter.


• DRAWER BODIES are built with high sides for use with hanging folders – no additional frames are needed. Each file includes 1 follower block per drawer.


• DRAWER SUSPENSIONS are maintenance free.


• DRAWER LOCKS are UL®-listed Medeco high-security key locks.


• DRAWER PULLS are surface mounted to allow for extra insulation inside the drawer heads.


• INSULATION BETWEEN ALL DRAWERS makes each drawer a separate insulated container.


• WATER RESISTANCE means files are designed to prevent water damage resulting from sprinklers and fire hoses.


• 2-POSITION DRAWER CATCH allows access to certain drawers while others remain locked.
